I'm really glad you guys are having fun. It sounds amazing. Enjoy your trip and don't worry about the roof. I've had a couple of contractors out for estimates and they said they can probably fix the fire damage within the next two months. It's the water damage that was really more devastating. I went through dad's rolodex and found some good lawyers and we're going to file against the bus company on Monday but we haven't found an address for the guy that was carrying the snake so we may have to hire an investigator. Otherwise, everything here is great. Today they told me that my eyebrows will almost definitely grow back! Love, Brent

Funny honey of mine
This morning Brent was showing me e-mails from his parents while they've been on their cruise the past couple weeks. They asked him how everything was going as we've been checking up on their house. Brent's response was this:

When I read that, I had a flashback of something that my teen daughter had said to me a while back when I was on active duty... because of the mail delays, I had to wait another two days to get the "just kidding" letter.
