Gaucho Pants - I found these at a fun little boutique near the beach. They are the most comfortable yet stylish items in my wardrobe at the moment. I get tons of compliments when I wear them. And they're stylish enough with heels and a jean jacket to wear to work! It's like working in sweats! Um, did I mention that I have five pairs? (Black, brown, maroon, grey, and blue...)
Magic Stapler - Hi. My name is Nanette. I'm a consumer. I see fun little gadgets and toys and I must have them, especially if they're shiny and bright. Brent and I are destined to spend the rest of our lives together because he realizes this about me. He supports my consumer-y habits by bringing me home stuff like a Magic Stapler. Last week he brought home a green one. I took it to work and everyone who walks by my cube gravitates toward it. It staples without staples. It punches a little hole and folds the "hanging chad" to keep the papers together. It's not quite reliable enough for really important documents, but it's perfect for my everyday docs. I've eliminated "freakin' stapler!" from my vocabulary. By the way, I saw the offer for a "free sample" on the Magic Stapler site, but I don't know how else they may bother you if you give them your info.
Weight Watchers - Weighed in yesterday morning. Lost 1.8 pounds this week for a grand total of 11.4 pounds! I'm starting to fit into my smaller-size clothes. Friends and family are starting to notice. I haven't had a soda (except for when I tried Coke Zero once) in almost two months. However, I did succumb to white rice for the first time in two months last night. Not to worry, though. When Brent wakes up this morning, we're headed to the gym.
