We started Saturday off with some good workouts at the gym. It was nice and empty, which I wish it was like all the time. No waiting for an eliptical machine. Plenty of room on the mats for stretching and ab work. Then we strolled Venice Beach with Brent's brother and his friend. Saturday night we hung out with always-fun Josh, Jamie and Baby Hallie. (Hallie has learned to say "Nanette," by the way, which tickles me to no end.) Had dinner and then some Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
Today we went grocery shopping and then South-African-ballerina-Jen and I went to Liz's house-warming. Her condo is SOOO cute! She and her husband have really made it a home. And she's got really great decorating taste. I came home and made a very yummy taco pie for dinner. Yes, I cooked. And yes, it was very tasty. For dessert I made fat-free/sugar-free chocolate pudding served with strawberries and fat-free whipped cream. Delic!
Michelle Dessler: "I'll go anywhere with you... as long as I don't have to cook."
Tony Almeida (laughing): "Sweetheart, if you promise not to cook I will take you with me anywhere."

Oooh, that dessert sounds yummy. I love going to the gym when it's empyy too. I get cranky when it's too crowded.
ReplyDeleteIt's more that when it's empty there's less chance of me running into people I know, hence me now being a fan of the very early morning work out.
