Warning: Post about deceased parent ahead

I'd like to start a Hollywood initiative, requiring warnings on any movie or television program with a cancer death, a parent's death, a parent's death from cancer and the absolute worst, which I witnessed tonight - a parent about to die from cancer giving her teenage daughter advice about how to act at her wedding. That's exactly what I need 5 days before my wedding, to burst into tears while watching TV. Brent, my fabulous, loving fiance who reminds me with every one of his actions why I'm marrying him, saw my tears, despite my attempts to hide them and immediately came to comfort me. He's a keeper.

Did I mention that I've been feeling like a cold or flu is trying to attack my immune system? Bring on the meds! I napped for two hours today and yesterday and barely ate anything today - a bowl of oatmeal, a few bites of spaghetti and one Cadbury Cream Egg. Apparently even a pending illness won't keep me away from that gooey, mint goodness.

  2. That was sad last night. Usually Grey's Anatomy is kind of cheesy, but that moment got me a little, too.

So the countdown is coming to an end? Are you working this week? Are you going on your honeymoon right away?

  9. You have to get those cream eggs in before they are gone for another year. That's my philosophy anyway!

  10. I know how you feel. I avoid shows and movies like that lately. Too close after Nana.

Wow! Less than a week! I'm so excited for you! Keep resting up and stay nourished. :)
