    -From Central Coast of California, newly married with one super-spoiled fur-child
    -I now work in the sales & marketing department of a book packager/producer
    -I believe I told Tori about my new blog and then she told you and then you contacted me, or something like that, and the rest is history
    -Of course, you're a daily read, but I am really into Yelp.com - most major cities have their own version, but it's a blog-like forum for user-submitted reviews of restaurants, businesses, etc. Kinda like MySpace, because you have "friends" and people leave "compliments," but waaaay cooler. You should check out the LA version!

    Ask a lot of questions, stare at my computer mostly. And for fun, go out? Just try to relax when I can? And travel!

    Michigan originally. Grew up in San Diego. Been in LA since college. Single. No kids yet. Hopefully though, after I get married!

    What do you do (for work and play)?
    Work: Write content for one of my company's websites.
    Play: Tennis, write, read, shop, theater, movies, live music, comedy, discover new restaurants, anything with my friends, visit my family. (I totally feel like I'm writing a Jdate essay right now.)

    How'd you find this here blog?
    I'm not sure actually. I think maybe you found me then I started reading you? Hmm, good question!

  4. I'm originally from Virginia and have also lived in Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, and Florida. L.A. is home now as I've been here for over 11 years, longer than any of those other places! Married for 11 years, no kids, 3 dogs, 1 hamster.

    I'm a pediatric physical therapist. For fun, I spend way too much time online. I also like movies, live music, photography, reading, hiking, writing haiku.

    I check in with Cute Overload. It can help with a stressful day.

  5. HI there! I've been a 2 day lurker. I found you through "BlogExplosion" the other day, bookmarked you, added you to my RSS feed and made it a point to come visit you but I have family over from California and I really don't have much time to read blogs but I'm trying to sneak away to get my dose of "blogsphere" anyway. haha!

    - Where ya from? Married? Kids? I was originally born in Mexico, raised in Los Angeles,California but am currently residing in San Antonio, TX. I am married, my husband is in the Air Force, thus why we travel and move around so much. I don't have any kids, currently TTC through infertility treatments. :-)

    I like photography, webdesign, exercise, reading... ah! You know simple stupid stuff like that. LOL

  7. I am from Louisiana although, I have lived in San Diego for the past 8 years.

    Nope not married. I'm only 24. :) No children yet ether, although I want both someday.

    I work in an accounting department of a civil engineering firm. For pay I rolerblade, road bike, karaoke, travel, and cook.

    I really don't remember which blog I was reading that linked to you... I read many.

    MY fav daily reads are Opinionistas and The Fish needs a bicycle.

    I'm from Los Angeles (Manhattan Beach). Single, no kids. I do public relations at a local university; I hang out with my friends for fun - like go to concerts, bars, bowling, whatever comes up. I found out about the blog because you told us you were starting one. I read Jen's blog daily and then I also read Daily Candy.

    Work: guest-related technology for a hotel company

    From Austin, MN; went to college in Duluth, MN; Moved to LA for 5 1/2 years; Moved back to Duluth and am here to stay (I think). Engaged - getting married in September. No kids yet but 2 lovabable (?eh, sometimes) cats

    - What do you do (for work and play)? I'm a secretary to pay the bills but I also fancy myself an independent filmmaker (3 shorts and a feature under my belt) - I knit, blog, take pictures, hike, cook, bake, do crafty things, read like the nerd I am, movies, karaoke, canoeing, x-country skiing, etc etc etc....

  12. 1. I'm from Alabama, my golf pro husband & I just celebrated our 11th anniversary, and we have a gorgeous red-haired 4-year-old daughter. Oh, and I'm 34. ;-)

    2. I'm a newspaper copy editor (working nights sucks!). I like to run/jog, lift weights, read, seek out new music for my iPod and hang out with my family.

    I work in Human Resources, specifically employee benefits. Seems all I do outside of work is read, watch TV and spend money....

    I cannot for the life of me remember how I found you anymore. I'll have to go look at your other blog links and see which ones we have in common.

  14. I grew up in Orange County, moved to San Diego for college in 1985 and have been here ever since. I'm divorced and have two feline kids that live with me and two more that live with my boyfriend.

    I'm a Project Manager at a software company for pay and I spend time volunteering with kids or visiting my boyfriend on my time off.

    I can't remember how I found you...I think there was a comment on either my or someone else's journal that I followed.

    I love Kristen at Debaucherous and Dishevelled (http://www.tallnlucky.blogs.com/) and would hike across snake-infested mountains to get to a Kinko's just so that I wouldn't miss a day.

    I was a theme park designer. Now I bake and craft.

    work: I work for the Dept. of Environment and Conservation (state job) as an environmental auditor.
    play: I like to craft, sew, watch movies, and read. I also workout regularly and I have a handbag/shoe obsession. =)

  19. I'm from Colorado, but have lived in Washington, Louisiana, Illinois and, most recently, Tennessee. I've been married for 11 years to my highschool sweetheart. We don't have kids yet, but have just started trying (what fun THAT is!). :)

    I am a Course Coordinator for a large medical school. For fun I hang out with friends over good food and/or booze, throw parties, knit, make soap, make cards, take photos, blog, etc.

    I can't remember how I found you, but I like you! :)

    Fav daily read has to be Dooce, but I also like The Muttering Muse, Quarter Life Crisis, and Sarcomical.

  20. Hi! I'm from Minnesota and now I live in Illinois. Single, childless. I'm a grad student studying journalism. I don't even remember how I found Nanette, I have been reading a while. I don't have time for daily reads, but I do have to read the Chicago Tribune for school regularly so I guess that's it.
